About me
My path into sports medicine started the same way many careers in this field do — through injury. As a Division I baseball player at UMass Amherst, I underwent Tommy John surgery, an experience that completely changed the way I viewed training, rehabilitation, and performance. What began as a setback became the catalyst for pursuing a career dedicated to helping athletes return not just to sport, but to high-level performance.
I went on to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and while in school, I obtained my CSCS. While balancing a rigorous class schedule, I began working as a strength coach at MBPI where I started to build a foundation for blending PT and performance. After graduation, I began my career working in a university sports medicine environment in Boulder, Colorado, gaining firsthand experience with the demands and realities of high-level collegiate athletics. Today, I work at Champion Physical Therapy & Performance in Boston, where I treat and train baseball players of all levels — from youth and high school athletes to collegiate and professional players. My work sits at the intersection of rehabilitation, performance, and return-to-play decision-making, with a singular focus: keeping athletes healthy, available, and performing at their best.
